Institutions

Nylon magazine is an American pop culture magazine focusing on art, beauty, music, deisgn, travel and celebrities, the name references New York and London tying in with their editorial focuses on both cities. In preparation for Nylon Ray Gun publishers sold their majority interests and founded Pop Media. The design of the magazine was intended to be "hyper legible" and so easily accesbile for all readers and therefore appealing to a wider audience. In 2006 Nylon and Myspace collaborated for the first time creating their first international music issue which was readily availabe online.
